Simplify Church is a national outsourced church bookkeeping and accounting specialist. We provide a virtual solution for churches to manage their finances through a simplified bookkeeping system.
We are looking for an Data Entry Specialist with the responsibilities as follows:
– data entry of client information transferred from bank statements
– updating and maintaining clients Quickbooks accounts with updated transaction information.
– data entry of contribution data gathered from online giving systems
– periodic rebuild of church accounts
– assist account managers with data entry and account updates
– other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
College Experience preferably in Accounting or Business Degree
Experience in Church Office environment or ministry related experience
Quickbooks experience preferred
Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and Word
Strong technical proficiency using a computer and related tools
Ability to work independently with little supervision and manage multiple projects and deadlines
Attention to detail with exceptional level of accuracy, as well as a track record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
